Something many of us do not know or realize is how many people are actually involved in the home buying process. It can be a bit overwhelming too.
You are out looking for your dream home, you find it, then, all of a sudden.... PEOPLE ARE EVERYWHERE!!!

There are a number of people involved in the home buying process. We need to realize and understand that these professionals base their careers on helping you find your dream homes and purchase it.

Over the next few days, we will be sharing some insights into what they are actually doing for you. Our hope is that this relieves some of the tension of having all these people around and helps you understand what they are doing for you.

The congregation we will be discussing will be the real estate consultant, lender, attorney, appraiser, surveyor, home inspector, and pest control. Truth is, you may not encounter them all. If you do, though, we want you to be prepared.

Today, we will be talking about the surveyor. The Surveyor checks the boundaries of the property to ensure that the home is ONLY on it's property - and the ONLY home on it's property. I know, there is not a lot to say about them, but this is what they do.
